This link is to book a Covid19 Booster Vaccine as per HSE and NIAC guidelines. You must be eligible for a vaccine or we will not be able to vaccinate you. Eligibility criteria is as listed below and can also be reviewed on the HSE website directly. We will not be able to vaccinate anyone that books in if they are not eligible. If you are unsure we suggest you call us before booking to confirm. Vaccines will be given in Imokilly Medical Centre, Midleton and will be an mRNA Vaccine.
All availability will be through our booking link so we ask that you monitor this link for future appointments. Vaccine availability is, as always, limited by our delivery dates so as we get new stock delivered we will add new dates.
Updated Booster Eligibility
2nd Dose Booster Vaccines: To be eligible for the 2nd booster vaccine you must be aged 50 or over or eligible with underlying health conditions as per the HSE (list available here). You must be a minimum of 16 weeks from your last vaccine dose. You do not need a 2nd Booster if you have had COVID-19 in the past 4 months.
Pregnant Women: Eligible for a 2nd dose booster if over 16weeks gestation. You must be a minimum of 16 weeks from your last vaccine dose. You do not need a 2nd Booster if you have had COVID-19 in the past 4 months. If you are not a patient of ours and have questions regarding pregnancy and vaccination you should direct these to your own GP or Consultant.
Healthcare Workers: You must be a minimum of 16 weeks from your last vaccine dose. You do not need a 2nd Booster if you have had COVID-19 in the past 4 months.
1st Dose Booster Vaccines: If this is your first booster you must be aged 16 or over, and be a minimum of 12weeks from your last vaccines. You cannot get a Booster if you have had Covid19 in the past 3months.
Children aged 12-16: Children may get a 1st Dose Booster if they are 6months from their last vaccine without having had Covid19 in the past 6months. A parent or legal guardian must attend to give consent. 2nd Dose Boosters are available to children over 12 if they are immunocompromised and within the correct time frame (6months from last).
