Imokilly Medical Centre is now able to offer Pfizer Covid19 Booster vaccines to children aged 12-15. As per the HSE a booster can be given to children in this age group once they are 6months after their 2nd dose of the vaccine and have not had Covid 19 in that 6months. These timeframes are correct as of 22/02/2022 but are subject to change. If the timeframe is officially reduced by the HSE we are happy to offer vaccines before 6months have passed, otherwise no exceptions can be made.
How to book a Covid19 Booster for your child
Boosters will be offered in the Practice on set clinic dates. Vaccine clinics will usually be held on Thursday afternoons and our main child booster clinic will be on March 24th (correct as of 22/02/22, subject to change). To book a booster you can contact us by email to info@imokillymedical.ie or through our online submission here. Please include your child’s Date of Birth and date of second vaccine when contacting us. Due to demand we will not be taking Booster Vaccine bookings by telephone in order to keep lines free for patients with medical queries.
