Imokilly Medial Centre are offering our covid-19 vaccinations in the GP Vaccination Hub lead by Dr Mike in MTU (CIT). We have been working tirelessly in the Hub since late February following guidelines issued by the HSE. Our vaccination programme started by age only, begining with those aged over 85, and working down in 5-year brackets. Our second dose clinic for patients aged 70-74 recently finished up on May 9th.
The next group for vaccinations
The next group for vaccinations by GPs has been specified to us by the HSE. This group includes patients aged 18-59 with underlying conditions that would potentially put them at a higher risk from covid-19. We have worked through our entire patient list in this category and made contact with any patient who fits the HSE criteria.
