Practice Appointment Update regarding Covid19

Due to rising Covid19 case numbers we have made the decision to try to reduce footfall in the Practice. Unfortunately this means we will need to limit some of the routine appointments we offer for the coming weeks. This is for the safety of our staff and of the patients that need to attend in person. We will continue to see patients, and will remain open as we always have, but with certain restrictions.

At the Doctor’s discretion some appointments will now be done by telephone, and the following appointments will be delayed for the month of November; Well Man and Well Woman, Menopause Consultation, Drivers Licence Medical, Cervical Smears, Routine Injections (e.g B12) and New Cryotherapy. We will aim to move Mental Health Consultations to phone appointments as these as usually extended consultations. This list may be updated as case numbers change.

Anyone who needs to be seen by a GP will be seen in person as always

Anyone who needs to be seen by a GP will be seen in person as always, however those displaying any Covid19 type symptoms will be required to go for a PCR test in advance of attending the Practice.

We feel that the above policy is in the best interest of all patients but please contact reception if you have any concerns.
